Welcome to Verdadero Chance Bay, Jetty, and Offshore Fishing Charters. Our captains are experienced, Coast Guard Certified skippers who have lived and worked on the Texas Gulf Coast (with boats and fishing) most of their lives. Our captains are courteous, knowledgeable and eager to please, and our boats are fully equipped with modern safety and fish-finding equipment. We hope to make your offshore fishing trip an unforgettable experience and an exciting lifetime adventure.

Captain Matt Medford has been fishing Port O' Connor since he was in diapers, his dad is a captain and fishing guide in Port O' Connor.
2 USCG certified captains or 1 captain and 1 skipper will operate your trip.



Verdadero Chance is the name of the boat, a 26ft. twin engine T-top sport fishing vessel 8 passenger.

Two, three or four person trips available, limit 4 persons.
Expect to be shown secrets of fishing, knots, bait, fish names, facts of the ocean and so on.
Ceviche made with your fresh catch while onboard, if you request ahead of time.
Digital pictures taken by deckhand/captain will be put on a disc and given to you!




You will need:
Fishing license with saltwater stamp
Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
Soft-soled shoes
Cooler for catch
Dress for weather conditions
Sea-sickness medication
Food and drinks
Bring what you want, but remember that space is limited on board, so some things may not be permitted.


Fees:
$800 per trip
Day starts at 7AM
Finish at 3 PM (fishing) or earlier if you're "fished out"
Can start day later upon request
You pay for bait
